I loved to help milk cows but was too short. I begged and begged my parents to let me buy a goat. After lots of calls, I finally found a farmer that was willing to sell me a goat. The farmer said she was crazy because she kept jumping the fence and running away. They were going to take her to the meat market. So I bought the “Crazy Goat” and now we lovingly call her Fern. Fern loves crunchy leaves and walking with me. I milk her 2x a day and once the milk began piling up I started experimenting with different milk products I could make.

We make soap like many of our grandmother’s did, maybe minus the goat soap :) This kit will walk you through the process via a video that you can watch as you make your very own soap at home. Milk is the only thing not included but if you have access great, otherwise cow’s milk from the store works great too! You’ll be able to choose your favorite scents.
